A cash register caught Best slouching on the shop counter, and as he attempted to get a cigarette, many individuals dragged him out of the business.
Following reports of the commotion at the general store, deputies from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office were summoned, and he was brought to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical.

The Teton County Sheriff’s Office reports that it got an open line 911 call from the Best residence at around 11:40 p.m. that day. Whether Randall made the 911 call or not is unclear.
