In a recent episode, viewers believe Wheel of Fortune contestant Will Jordan may have provided the “worst wrong answer in gameshow history.”
Alongside Kitina Thomas and Chantel Toran, who were all vying for the prize, the Connecticut guy appeared on Monday’s (November 11) broadcast.
The tiles read: “_ _ _ E _OURSE_F A ROUN_ OF A_ _ _ AUSE.” TV personality Ryan Seacrest was present to ask the group if they could identify the missing letters to a fairly common phrase.
Will was quick to raise his hand, but his guess was the most wildly incorrect.
No matter how much we wanted that to be the answer, viewers were shocked when Will responded with, “Treat yourself a round of sausage.”
After all, at the Christmas markets, nothing compares to a delicious German bratwurst.
‘Give yourself a round of applause’ was the right response, as guessed by competitor Kitina, in case you haven’t figured it out yet.
When the host said, “Will, I kind of like yours better,” she was kidding.
“That sounds better than just clapping right now.”
Will handled the mistake well (NBC)
“All right, Will, we had a little missolve in the first game,” stated Maggie Sajak, the daughter of previous host Pat Sajak.
“That’s alright! Could you explain your feelings to me?
“I tell you, when the lights are on, and you know, the stars and Ryan Seacrest, Vanna White…,” he added, demonstrating his excellent response. I simply lost consciousness.
“But, if your dad, in retirement, is watching this show, maybe cracks a beer and gets a laugh, it was worth it.”

Will (NBC) made a small mistake.
Fortunately, Will didn’t go home empty-handed; by placing third, he earned an incredible $8,000 (£6,296).
Kitina, the runner-up, received $10,500 (£8,263), and Chantel, the winner, received $13,000 (£10,230).
One fan commented on the mistake on X, saying: “I was yelling at the television! “That was not the only stupid mistake he made!”
7News added that “This could go down as one of the worst guesses on the Wheel of Fortune of all time.”
Another person added: “Very funny! When the lights and cameras are on you, I’m sure it’s difficult.
That’s hilarious, yet it happens to everyone. The way he suppressed a giggle as well. “Whoops,” wrote another.
