My brother David died quietly this morning, Stella posted on X at 5:54 a.m. Though leaving a loved one is difficult, he has angel wings and is at peace.
Robert and Avie Lee Parton of Sevier County, Tennessee, had 12 children, including David Wilburn.
Willadeene, David Wilburn, Coy Denver, Dolly Rebecca, Bobby Lee, Stella Mae, Cassie Nan, ‘Randy,’ Dolly lists Larry Gerald, Estel Floyd and Freida Estelle twins, and Rachel Ann by birth order.
Family relatives haven’t announced David’s death.

Despite his family’s renown, David Parton lived quietly.
His obituary said he retired from Simpson Construction as a bridge construction supervisor, working on Kingsport, Johnson City, and Knoxville bridges.
