Superstar’s 3-year-old kid dies two weeks after river tragedy.

Spencer Wright’s little son Levi died suddenly.

The 3-year-old died of a severe brain damage following a near-drowning on May 21.

Levi fell into a river while operating a tractor toy. He was taken to Salt Lake City and hospitalized. Levi was found unconscious a mile downstream by local police.

Levi showed symptoms of recovery after being pronounced brain dead.

Levi woke up! Shaken, we don’t know much, but the doctor said I can be enthusiastic, so I am! My kid is tough!” said his mother Kallie Wright on Facebook.

MRI findings the next day “weren’t good.”

“We’re broken, but images suggest a certain quality of life. Levi’s actions over the next four days will tell the story, Kallie said.

His struggle persisted as family and friends hoped for his recovery.

The family had to make a difficult choice.
“After several sleepless nights, lots of research, multiple conversations with the world’s best neurologists & millions of prayers we are here in the face of our biggest fear,” she wrote. Levi showed us enough to buy us time. We hoped he was overcoming odds and demonstrating he wanted to remain, but now we know he wanted to give us time to make peace with letting him go.”

After scans, tests, and medical advice, the family took Levi off life support.

Levi’s terrible death was verified by family friend Mindy Sue Clark.

“I cannot express how difficult the last two weeks have been. From when my phone rang the night of his accident until yesterday night’s notification that he had to depart. Even though it seems like someone took my heart out and squeezed it in front of me, I don’t want to dwell on the terrible or sad. I wish to highlight the numerous miracles we saw in those 12 days.

“The most perfect three-year-old ever. Perfect, we couldn’t keep him. This tiny boy moved mountains in 12 days. He united so many. A kid brought light to a gloomy world. His parents could have wished nothing more.”

Our condolences for this terrible loss. Rest easy, Levi.
