An Atlanta mother who was sentenced to life in prison was accused by police of killing two of her young sons by placing them in the oven.

FOX 5 reports that Lamora Williams, 24, was given a life sentence without the possibility of release on Friday, along with an extra 35 years. After her sons, Ja-Karter Penn, age 1, and Ke-Yaunte Penn, age 2, died in 2017, she was found guilty on 14 charges, including two counts of murder.

Williams claimed that on October 13, 2017, she contacted 911 after returning home from work after a 12-hour absence, only to discover two of her children dead and their caregiver missing.

She allegedly said to dispatch, “Can you please help me?” Please let me know that because this is not my fault, I don’t want to be locked up. After work, I had just returned home.

“When I came in, the stove was laying on my son, on my youngest son’s head, and my other son was laid out on the floor with his brains laid out on the floor,” she added. “I am unsure about what to do. I recently got home from work.

Jameel Penn, the father of the boys, also contacted 911 the same evening, saying he had a video chat with Williams during which Williams showed him their children’s bodies.

“I was shown this when she video phoned me, and I saw it. According to the 911 call, he stated, “I believe they are truly dead.”

According to Penn’s later statement to WSB-TV, the scene “was like a real horror movie,” noting that the crime occurred on Friday the 13th. “When I saw my kid, how I saw my kid, that’s when I knew what was going on.”

Additionally, police told the site that Jameel Penn Jr., a third child, witnessed his mother allegedly murdering his siblings.

Williams “knowingly and intentionally” killed the two boys “by placing them in an oven and turning it on” sometime between midnight on October 13, 2017, and 11 p.m. that same evening, according to authorities. According to an autopsy report, the boys’ heads were stuck in a tilted oven, despite the police’s claim that they had suffered serious burns. The medical examiner apparently disagreed.

The mother of Williams earlier told FOX 5 that she “snapped” during her breakup with Penn and has a history of mental illness. On 14 charges, however, a jury found her guilty.

Fans believe they have evidence that the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul was staged.

Because it made her feel “gross,” Anna Kendrick gave the whole Netflix movie’s proceeds to charity.
