Says Sydney Sweeney “Won’t Stop” Acting Out Nude Scenes

Known for her part in “Euphoria,” Sydney Sweeney seems unfazed by nudity on TV, even though her co-star in “Anyone But You” felt it so embarrassing that he was unable to face the camera crew.

When it comes to her willingness to film risqué scenes, Sweeney has no regrets.

She has gained self-assurance and feels at ease exposing her body on film.

As she stated in 2022, “People don’t realize I’m portraying someone. They believe that because she is seen nude on film, she is a sex symbol. It’s something I can’t get over.”

“I have no problems with those scenes, and I won’t stop doing them, but I wish there was an easier way to have an open conversation about what we’re assuming about actors in the industry.”

Furthermore, Sydney added, “I find empowerment through embracing the body that I have.”

“That’s sexy and strong, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.”

Despite criticism for its graphic content, she has even defended Euphoria’s director, Sam Levinson.

“You have me, you have Z, you have all of these very strong-minded, independent women,” she stated in an interview with Variety.

“If we didn’t feel comfortable with something, or we saw something we didn’t like, we’d all speak up.”

“It’s hard to see someone completely trashed by the public and the media when no one’s actually there.”

“We are there, and clearly we’re still working on the show, and we’re still supportive.”

“It’s not, ‘here are two t*ts.'” It is simply true.

In a lighthearted manner, she related a story about her dad unexpectedly viewing the show:

What are some ways to start a conversation? In addition, my conversations with my dad are typically not about employment.

“He decided he was going to watch it without telling me, with his parents.”

It was unpleasant for her co-star Glen Powell, who costarred with her in their romantic comedy in a sultry shower scene, he told E! News.

“When we were doing that, there were other people weighing in on what we should do in that scene.”

“I was like, ‘I don’t like when crew members are weighing in on how I should do a sexy shower scene.’”

Later, he admitted to feeling strange, stating, “You’re like, ‘That is weird, man.’?” I can’t perceive you in the same manner.”

Intimacy with a co-star was less important to Sydney than being observed by the crew, despite her acknowledging the uncomfortable.

“There’s always an awkward moment, but I don’t know if it’s because you’re so close to someone other than the 40 crew members that are watching you film this – that’s the awkward part.”

“If anything, I feel more safe with someone who I’m friends with than some people that you don’t really know.”

In “Solidarity,” John Stamos dons a bald cap following “Bro” Dave Coulier’s cancer diagnosis, saying, “We’re going to get through this.”
