“Suicidal recklessness”: Biden’s authorization of missiles against Russia sparks impeachment and WWIII discussions

Biden might have created the conditions for a nuclear exchange with less than nine weeks remaining in his administration.
The United States’ proxy war with Russia might escalate into a direct nuclear confrontation before President Joe Biden steps down in January.

Ukrainian officials, members of the Biden administration, and other lawmakers from both major parties seem certain that attacks on Russia with U.S. long-range missiles could give Kyiv a stronger negotiating position if the Eastern countries ever convene to discuss ending the war, which has raged for more than 1,000 days and killed hundreds of thousands of people.

The decision has drawn criticism for potentially prolonging the conflict, which most Ukrainians now want to end with immediate talks, as well as for potentially igniting a nuclear holocaust or, at the very least, preventing President-elect Donald Trump from negotiating peace when he takes office.

Fired missiles
Following its approval of Ukraine’s use of long-range missile systems against Russian targets, a move long opposed by U.S. officials worried about escalation and cited by Russian President Vladimir Putin as a catalyst for war between Washington and Moscow, Kyiv fired six American-made Army Tactical Missile System missiles Tuesday morning at a weapons depot in Karachev, a Russian city located 70 miles inside the country, in the Bryansk region.

“Now we shouldn’t be afraid to do more.”

CNN reports that the sixth ATACMS supersonic missile was disabled and that five of them were shot down by Russian air defenses. Near a military base, fragments of the defective missile fell, starting a fire but causing no damage or fatalities.

In addition to confirming the attempted missile strikes, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hinted that these and other long-range missile strikes would be seen as American military actions.

Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, stated in a statement: “The [Russian] president made reference to this on multiple occasions. We will view this as a fundamentally new stage in the Western assault against Russia and respond appropriately if long-range missiles are used to penetrate Russian territory from Ukraine. This will also indicate that American military and technical specialists are operating the missiles.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president, told the European Parliament on Tuesday, “We must not fear doing more now.”

“While some European leaders consider holding elections or similar events at Ukraine’s expense, Putin is more concerned with winning this conflict. He isn’t going to stop by himself. Conditions worsen the longer he has them,” Zelenskyy stated.

By June, Putin had taken around a fifth of Ukraine, according to the Institute for the Study of War, with Russian forces controlling 75% of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson oblasts.

“Today is the best moment to push Russia harder, and it’s clear without certain key factors Russia will lack real motivation to engage in meaningful negotiation,” Zelenskyy stated.

Hours thereafter, Russia allegedly launched drone attacks within Ukraine and launched missile strikes on Kharkiv, Dnipro, Chernihiv, and Sumy.

The American embassy in Kyiv declared on Wednesday morning that it was closing due to the possibility of a “significant air attack.”

Updates to mine and nuclear policies
In order to satisfy the demand for nuclear deterrence, Russian official media said that Moscow updated its nuclear doctrine this week with the goal of “making conventional warfare unachievable,” classifying strikes by a non-nuclear state with the assistance of a nuclear state as a combined attack.

“NATO missiles fired against our country could be deemed an attack by the bloc on Russia due to Russia’s new nuclear doctrine,” Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chair of the Russian Federation’s security council, wrote on X. Russia might use WMD in retaliation against Kiev and important NATO installations, no matter where they are. This implies the third world war.

In response to conventional attacks on Russia or Belarus, Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated that he might also use nuclear weapons. Russia possesses a supersonic missile with a 625-mile range and more than 5,000 nuclear warheads.

According to Russian Foreign Intelligence Service chief Sergey Naryshkin, the West understands that “the changes Putin presented have significantly weakened the efforts of the United States and NATO to defeat our country strategically.” Moreover, the broadened standards for employing nuclear weapons effectively exclude the prospect of defeating the Russian military on the battlefield.

Matthew Miller, a spokesman for the U.S. State Department, told the Associated Press, “I’m unfortunately not surprised by the comments the Kremlin has made around the publication of this new, revised document,” adding that Russia has frequently attempted to “coerce and intimidate both Ukraine and other countries around the world through irresponsible nuclear rhetoric and behavior.”

“Irresponsible rhetoric” was denounced by the United Kingdom and other NATO allies, who reaffirmed their support for Ukraine.

Additionally, the Biden administration updated its policies.

According to the Washington Post, Biden approved the supply of antipersonnel land mines to Ukraine, citing unidentified U.S. officials.

“When they’re used in concert with the other munitions that we already are providing Ukraine, the intent is that they will contribute to a more effective defense,” said a government official.

The Ottawa Convention, sometimes called the Mine Ban Treaty, has 164 parties, and the United States is not one of them. However, in 2022, Biden reportedly revived an Obama-era policy that prohibited the export and use of American antipersonnel land minds outside of Korea.

Glenn Beck, a co-founder of Blaze Media, said that the Biden administration is putting Russian President Vladimir Putin “into a corner.” ”

“A man who is a ruthless murderer—you don’t keep putting him in a tight spot, else what happens? ‘I’ll have absolutely no credibility’ [with] his people after they’ve been bombarded by U.S. missiles, which he claimed two days ago would be an act of war,” Beck ultimately stated. We’ve entered a state of insanity. Joe Biden can be impeached for his actions.

“We Americans do not want a third world war.”

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) said a day before the ATACMS strikes that Biden had committed “an unconstitutional Act of War” that was punishable by impeachment.

Rep. Keith Self (R) of Texas wrote to Biden on Tuesday to protest his decision to allow Ukraine to employ ATACMS against Russia.

According to Self, the missile systems may have been tactically beneficial at an earlier point in the war, but their deployment at this point is “counter-productive to President-elect Donald J. Trump’s stated goal towards a negotiated peace.”

“This is the power of failing experts in action, faceless.”

“If this desperate move by your administration represents an attempt by deep-state operatives to hamstring the incoming Trump presidency, it’s a dangerous miscalculation,” self wrote. “This miscalculation could have disastrous consequences, which worries me a lot. Americans are opposed to a third world war.

“January 20 can’t get here fast enough,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) told Laura Ingraham of Fox News. “It appears to be a sign that Ukraine can escalate the situation. What would happen if Russia attacked a NATO member with missiles and then launched retaliatory strikes? Our treaty duties would then be activated. Then, a full-scale conflict is being discussed.

The man who approved the employment of long-range missiles against a nuclear state was deemed too shabby by his own party to remain in the presidential election earlier this year, Hawley added.

Matthew Peterson, the editor-in-chief of Blaze News, stated “what is happening in regard to Russia and Ukraine while we have no functional President is one of the last, most reckless and outrageous acts from the supposed ‘adults in the room’ who have consistently driven our nation towards the cliff the last four disastrous years.”

“This is not ‘democracy,'” Peterson carried on. In the midst of a president’s final “lame duck” time due to aged dementia, the faceless authority of incompetent experts is obstructing the will of the people. This is a type of suicidal, masochistic irresponsibility committed by weak men.

On “Blaze News Tonight,” Peterson went on to say, “I believe there is something very reprehensible about the confident foreign policy expert in this country. Out of all the various government professionals who have degrees, those who work in foreign policy dress up in suits and use -isms and -istics to say things like, “We know all this stuff and we have domain knowledge that you don’t have.” They are consistently the most malevolent, hazardous, and incredibly stupid branch of the government.
