They are Jordan Lanie Swenson, 19, and Marion Austin Dycus, 20.

On May 3, 2016, the couple was taken into custody for torturing their young twins, a boy and a girl.

Four months after their January birth, the infants were brought to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

A member of the emergency department called the police because she was so worried about them.
