Not surprisingly, the event became the biggest American boxing night outside of Las Vegas. It was “Iron” Mike’s first professional boxing battle in 19 years, and there was a chance he may knock out a grumpy YouTuber.
Approximately 70,000+ people flocked to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and an additional 60 million homes worldwide watched on Netflix, so there were a lot of eyeballs on the screen.
That meant exposure for the ring ladies.
Now that one of the women has opened out about her time in the ring with Tyson, her social media accounts are overflowing with fans.
Sydney Thomas, who will turn twenty-one later this month, had her moment in the spotlight when her gorgeous appearance drew in viewers.
Because of her viral fame, her Instagram following grew from 236,000 to nearly 555,000 in a single day. Social Blade, a social media tracking tool, reports that Thomas’ Instagram following has increased by over 365,730 since the altercation on Friday.
She posted a picture of herself in the ring along with the caption, “I never thought I’d be able to say that I got the chance to enter the ring with Mike Tyson and Jake Paul for such a historic fight.”

How she got involved in the biggest fight of the century as a ring girl is one of the most common questions she’s been asked.
“I was discovered via social media,” she claimed. “I did my first fight in Puerto Rico a month ago and Paul x Tyson was my second time in the ring!”
Thomas also disclosed that she is enrolled at the University of Alabama to study management with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. She intends to graduate a year early and completes all of her coursework online.
“Being in the ring with Mike Tyson for sure,” the bombshell added, revealing her favorite part of Friday night. This is an opportunity that comes only once. He is truly a legend.
