According to Elite Daily, the pair quickly discovered significant blisters, lumps, and swelling on their feet. But this was only the beginning of their ordeal.

After visiting the hospital, the couple saw three separate doctors before receiving a proper diagnosis and treatment recommendation, according to CTV News.

The couple’s ultimate diagnosis was made by a doctor who had lately witnessed a similar situation with another foreign visitor. Their issues were far from resolved, though.
