Another death row inmate, Anthony Wainwright, is set to be executed on June 10 for the 1994 kidnap, rape, and murder of 23-year-old Carmen Gayheart.
Despite appeals, Rogers’ defense team failed to stop the execution. They argued that his history of child abuse and trauma warranted a life sentence. Courts rejected the plea.
