Wicked is going full steam ahead. Since its November 22 release in theaters around the country, the movie has gone viral online.
Cast members including Jonathan Bailey, who plays Fiyero, and Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, are receiving praise. However, one of the biggest pop artists in the world is also the movie’s biggest breakout star.

Naturally, that would be Ariana Grande. She plays Glinda in the movie, and her comedy skills in the role are receiving particular appreciation on the internet.
Everyone agrees that Ariana is a full-fledged comedic actor, whether it’s the full-bodied humor she exhibits in “Popular” or the caustic depth she lends to the musical’s opening tune “No One Mourns The Wicked.”
