After years of residing in the US, Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva, and family are planning to move to Spain.
In order to spend Thanksgiving with Alejandra’s family, the 75-year-old Pretty Woman star announced that he would be traveling to Madrid, the capital of Spain.
Richard started off by making a joke when he announced the big shift on Wednesday’s broadcast of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: “My wife is Spanish.” Is anyone else having trouble with this?
‘But my wife is Spanish, and she gave me around seven years here, so we’re going to spend some years in Madrid,’ he added.
“Being bilingual, our children will thrive there,” he added.
After being married in 2018, Richard and Alejandra had two sons: James, 4, and Alexander, 5.
Furthermore, the 11-year-old son of the Spanish campaigner, Albert, has the Hollywood A-lister as his stepfather.
He and his second wife, the actress Carey Lowell, welcomed a 24-year-old son, Homer, into the world.
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Pretty Woman actor revealed his intentions to move.
‘Of course I’ll be returning,’ Richard continued, confirming that he would not be leaving America just yet.
Richard exclaimed, “I love my wife, she’s incredible,” when discussing his family. wonderful mother.
“Kids are content and healthy.” Of course, that is all there is to it.
He went on to discuss their Thanksgiving preparations, saying, “My wife grew up in a large Spanish family, very similar to a large Italian family, and her grandmother was sort of the glue that held that all together.”
Additionally, the grandma died [about] two years ago, so I can picture my wife evolving into this extended family’s new grandmother.
As a result, she has already scheduled Sunday lunches for 35 guests.
Richard is surprisingly not the only famous person to leave the United States recently.

The Cotswolds, a rural area in southwest England around 100 miles from London, is where the couple is apparently currently residing.

However, before the A-lister’s character Bosko gave the scene the finger, the producers chopped it. Richard decided to take matters into his own hands and perform the scene live in Studio 1A.
Savannah was astonished when Richard boldly flicked her off as she introduced him to the audience.
Richard defended the decision by saying, “I apologize, but that’s what I did in the piece.”
In a moment of shock, Savannah tried to conceal Richard’s hand with her script and claimed to be “bleeping” him.
“On this family morning show, you just made a lewd gesture,” she remarked.
