Teenagers who murdered for amusement: A 13-year-old girl who recorded a 15-year-old boy beating an elderly dog walker with a slider while shouting racist epithets was convicted of murder.

After being found guilty of manslaughter, a boy who viciously attacked retired factory owner Bhim Kohli while he was walking his dog Rocky in a park near his home in September of last year while wearing a balaclava is facing jail time.

The baby-faced teen was found guilty of the lesser charge after a six-week trial at Leicester Crown Court on Tuesday, but was acquitted of murder.

A 12-year-old girl who recorded a portion of the assault and could be heard laughing while the elderly man trembled on his knees was also convicted of manslaughter after prosecutors claimed she “encouraged the violence.”

Due to their age, the two cannot be identified.
