Teenagers who murdered for amusement: A 13-year-old girl who recorded a 15-year-old boy beating an elderly dog walker with a slider while shouting racist epithets was convicted of murder.

He went on to say: ‘I’m so nervous well scared and worried. I accept I did it and I am doing time. I am just scared about how long I have to do.’

When told the letter would have to be disclosed he replied: ‘That’s my manslaughter plea gone.’

The Leicestershire police made a statutory report to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) because of previous police engagement with Mr. Kohli.

The IOPC determined that the force should conduct this investigation locally. The IOPC has been tasked with reviewing the investigative report.
