The family of the teen who allegedly fatally stabbed someone else during a track meet claims that the story being spread is untrue.

Metcalf seized Anthony at this point, and the witness claims that the suspect “stabbed Austin once in the chest and then ran away.” The firearm was discovered in the bleachers, according to the police.

He said, “Everyone has already made their assumptions about my son, but he’s not what they’re making him out to be,” expressing his own pity for Metcalf’s situation.

“I feel bad for the other parents and family, and words can’t explain how both people [families] have been affected by this tragedy.”
